Frequently Asked Questions

What devices does Stabilize support?

Stabilize is currently available for iPhone only. It requires iOS 16.0 or later. We're focused on making the iPhone experience excellent before considering other platforms.

Is my data private?

Yes. Stabilize uses a local-first architecture, meaning your health data is stored directly on your device—not on our servers. Data only leaves your device when you explicitly choose to export it (via PDF, email, or print). We cannot see your symptoms, medications, or any other health information.

Can my doctor log in to see my data?

No, there's no clinician portal or login. When you want to share information with your healthcare provider, you export a PDF summary and share it however works best—email, print, or show them directly on your phone. You control exactly what gets shared and when.

What happens if I miss a few days of logging?

That's completely fine. Stabilize is designed to handle gaps gracefully. When you return, you can optionally back-fill previous days if you remember, or simply start fresh. Your trends and reports will accurately reflect days with data and won't penalize you for gaps.

Can Stabilize tell me what dose I should be on?

No. Stabilize is purely a tracking and reporting tool. It does not provide medical advice, dosing recommendations, or treatment suggestions. Decisions about your HRT regimen should always be made with your healthcare provider.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed entirely through your Apple ID and App Store settings. We don't bill you directly. To cancel, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, find Stabilize, and select Cancel Subscription. You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

What if I change medications?

Stabilize makes it easy to update your regimen. You can end one medication and add another, and the app will track them with appropriate date ranges. Your historical data remains intact, so you can see trends across different medication changes over time.

Is there a free trial?

Trial availability depends on your region and App Store settings. When available, trials are offered at the point of subscription within the app. Check the subscription screen in Stabilize for current offers.

Will my data sync across devices?

Currently, Stabilize stores data locally on your device. If your iPhone is backed up to iCloud, your app data may be included in that backup (subject to your iCloud settings and Apple's backup policies), but we don't operate a cloud sync service ourselves.

Can I export my data?

Yes. You can export a PDF summary for any date range you choose. The export includes your medication schedule, adherence data, symptom trends, and any notes you've added. You can share this via email, AirDrop, print, or any other sharing method your iPhone supports.

What symptoms can I track?

Stabilize includes common menopause and perimenopause symptoms like hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes, sleep quality, brain fog, fatigue, joint pain, headaches, libido changes, and more. You can also add custom notes for anything that doesn't fit the preset categories.

Is Stabilize a medical device?

No. Stabilize is not intended as a medical device and is not regulated as one. It's a personal tracking tool to help you document your experience and share information with your healthcare providers. It does not diagnose, treat, or make clinical recommendations.
